"TOP GUN" is a 42' offshore sports fishing cruiser professionally designed by a naval architect in 1989. Constructed for its only owner from special order mahogany plywood 3 X 7 ply topsides and 4 X 7 ply beneath the waterline. All the timber was sealed with 200 litres of west epoxy and the corners were sheathed for ultimate strength.
"TOP GUN" deserves its enviable reputation as one of the flagship vessels of the SA Game Fishing Fleet and has confidently ventured many times into waters where records and boats get broken! She has a cockpit that rivals many 50' to 60' footers and has been enjoyed by Greg Norman for private charter where he captured a couple of monster Great White sharks.
This 8 berth, air-conditioned, dual stationed cruiser is a true "go anywhere" boat. If you are serious about your requirements for offshore fishing or economical coastal cruising this vessel is a must to inspect. She has been excellently maintained and updated since she was launched and is powered by twin Iveco 375 HP diesels making her quick, yet economical. The inventory is far too extensive to list here but its a case of , you name it, she's got it.The original price to build this boat was in excess of $600.000 with the very best available materials-make an offer must sell due to ill health.
