The current owners have extensive documentation confirming a decade of professional maintenance and improvement done by local marina-based businesses prepared to recommend the boat.

The Cavalier 32 is known for its superb seaworthiness capable of being sailed safely and comfortably in all conditions it shrugs off high winds and strong seas with ease. Its ideal for racing or cruising. The MSB Survey gives added assurance of a well-founded boat.

Her large saloon sleeps 6 with ease and has over 6 foot headroom. There is a small navigation station wired for GPS and radios. The galley has a stainless steel sink with pressurised cold water, a gas 2-burner stove/grill, and a large ice box. The head has a near-new electric toilet, hand basin and shower.

There is all the safety gear required for coastal and inshore racing including a new EPIRB. Power is provided by 2 near-new deep cycle batteries, each with a separate switch. The electronic instrumentation includes a VDO plotter, hand-held Garmin GPS, 2 GME radios. Raymarine depth, wind speed/direction and auto helm systems, a rev counter and pedestal compass at helm.

There are 4 sails all in good condition: a fully-battened main with boom cover, a near-new self-furling headsail, No 3 and storm jibs, and a near-new spinnaker.

On deck there is a 25lb COR plough anchor with new stainless steel chain, 2 self-tailing winches, stainless steel lifelines strengthened and re-installed in 2015, 2 spinnaker poles, cockpit mounted traveller and rope vang at the mast. Mast and boom are aluminium.

The engine is a 24hp Bukh diesel, this replaced the original engine in 1999 and in 2014 was re-built and re-installed with a new propeller since when it has had little use. It delivers more than adequate power and drives the boat comfortably.

The boat is being sold simply because old age has taken its toll on its owners who now seek softer leisure options.
