The "Kudu" is a very well built and well maintained timber motor yacht. The vessel was built in the UK by reputable boat builders using only the best materials available and the writer was advised the vessel steamed to Australia via the USA and New Zealand after launching. The current owners of the vessel for the last 18 years have used the vessel for coastal cruising only and have upgraded the vessel to keep it in its original traditional livery, but with newer appliances, electrics and systems. Refit costs for the current owners since purchase have exceeded $720,000 plus normal maintenance costs. Since last survey the deck repairs have been completed and all seawater pumps and oil coolers overhauled. From the survey afloat only the vessel presents as an ideal vessel for extended cruising with ample fuel capacity, larger accommodation areas then modern vessels of the same size and numerous backup systems. It is the writer's opinion that this vessel in the current slow economy to be valued in the vicinity of $400,000.00 to $450,000.00. Attached are several photos taken on the day of survey
