The Farr 280 One Design is a new production racing sailboat by Farr Yacht Design that delivers the excitement of grand prix racing to the under-30' one design arena. As a modern one design, the Farr 280 delivers contemporary grand prix features and style to a more achievable smaller boat package. The Farr 1020 is a one design10.2 meter racing/cruising keel boat that originated from the drawing board of Bruce Farr in 1983. One hundred and fifty yachts were built and launched over the ensuing years. Today the Farr 1020 is a recognised National Keelboat class in New Zealand. While most Farr 1020s are located in the North Island of NZ, a number can be found further south and also in Australia, USA, Pacific Islands and in the Northern Hemisphere. The Farr 1020 is a top handling racer and also a very comfortable cruiser and as such it meets the requirement of the seriously competitive sailor and yet is appointed to a high standard to meet the demands of the discriminating cruising family.
Dania is a factory built yacht in very good condition. She has been regularly upgraded and is ready to enjoy in club racing or social sailing.
