How's this for a beautiful example of a Cruise Craft 500 Explorer? Lovingly maintained and optioned with a compliment of electronics that the angler will love and yet also family friendly with features to make for a great day on the bay. Cruise Craft boats are synonymous for building quality boats are held in high regard almost iconic status as a top Australian trailer boat builder with their quality build, great resale and many boaties that remain very brand loyal via Team Cruise Craft membership. This boat has been well loved with regular upgrades keeping the boat modern and compliant. The two VHF radios were replaced some 18 months ago along with the aerials, for safety and having one radio for redundancy as well as the quality bimini and clears being replaced. First Impressions For a 5m boat it makes other brands that boast a similar length look small thanks to the Cruise Crafts design incorporating a generous beam and high-top sides. The beam creates stability at rest, ideal for when children are aboard and there is even internal cockpit grab rails built into the gunnels to aid as handholds. Seating is comfortable with 2 pedestal seats for the skipper and the co passenger and the rear of the cockpit houses two large storage bins that have padding atop creating another spot for 3 bums. Loads of storage is offered throughout the boat from bow to stern to store the necessary gear. The cabin is light and airy with a large opening hatch allowing safe and easy passage to the ground tackle stored in the bow locker. Thye cabin also has padded bunk cushions if the young ones needs a kip after lunch or some reprieve from the sun. For the Angler The angler in the family will love the fishing friendly features that adorn this boat.... the transom is fitted with 2 live bait tanks in each stern corner, one being plumbed with recirculating pump. A quality bait prep table is installed, dual batteries are fitted under the transom for on water safety and overhead a rod storage rack is fitted to the bimini top along with a deck wash system! For the Skipper The helm is very well layed out with a comfortable steering position even for tallies like me and a compliment of engine gauges are fitted along with a great Furuno FCV628 sounder, a Garmin Echomap DV combo sounder/GPS, along with 2 yes 2, GME VHF radios and for those that like some tunes whilst afloat a stereo system is included. The Motor We all desire 4 stroke power, and this rig is powered by a Yamaha 100Hp four stroke, although not an EFI model, a four stroke none the less and you dont have to worry anymore about oily fumes and noise! The motor has been assessed pre-sale like all outboards at JCM and is further backed with a BIA limited engine warranty for buyers confidence. The motor has recorded 462 hours according to the hour meter fitted to the dash. The boat is loaded with accessories outlined as follows: Garmin Echomap DV colour combo GPS/Sounder Furuno FCV 680 colour sounder 2 x GME VHF radios with aerials Kenwood stereo system GME MT600G EPIRB Dual batteries with an isolation switch in a battery holder Underfloor fuel tank approx. 100L capacity S/S 3 blade propeller fitted Factory fitted flush system on outboard 2 paddles, v-sheet, torch Bimini top with front & side clears (18 months old) 2 pedestal seats Removable rear lounge with padded back rest & storage bins underneath Upholstered bunk cushions Plumbed live bait tank Unplumbed bait tank Bait board including rod holders Overhead rod storage rack Deck wash Cockpit lights S/S boarding ladder stb & a boarding platform port side Windscreen grab rail S/S bow rails & cockpit hand rails SE Sport engine foil fitted Mechanical override disc brakes Painted alloy wheels Spare wheel with carrier LED trailer lights On the Trailer Trailering is simple, thanks to the rebuilt trailer. The old frame was removed and replaced with a new galvanized frame in 2016 with a slightly extended draw bar that allows the boot of the towing vehicle to open (Prado/Pajero owners know what I mean) and it tows better being on a single axle trailer. Get the Cruise Craft Feeling! If you are in the market for a beautiful fiberglass package that will deliver a comfortable dry ride, something that is a pleasure to use and full of quality inclusions, then look no further, priced at a firm $29,995 tow away, backed with all the reassurances as outlined below that JCM completes on your behalf, this gem won't last long!
