Savannah is a custom built Steel hull and GRP super structure ultra long range expedition yacht has been luxuriously and purposefully finished to AMSA survey standard and ready to cruise or work. Originally built in 2008 the vessel was never used until finally finished in 2012. Marine Engineering consultants at GCCM were the principle contractor in Australia that really bought the boat together and up to AMSA survey standard. The extremely high bow is ideal for handling large ocean conditions and the commanding enclosed Bridge elevates the master of the vessel to a position that gives complete awareness of the surroundings. With 40000 Litres of diesel on board and twin Perkins 300TI 6 Cylinder engines the vessel is designed for extreme remote operations. The dual tenders placed securely behind the bow on the for-deck are moved using a Hydraulic 3 tonne crane The vessel is suited to a multiple of uses Mother shipping subsea exploration Dive expeditions remote location exploring Research oceanography governmentcontracts DayCharter remote accommodation or as a very capable private long range cruiser. The options and boundaries are really limitless with the capability of this yacht. Four Guest cabins plus crew allow comfortable overnight charter for 8 + crew and day charter for 30pax + crew with modification these numbers could be easily increased. The vessel has had quite moderate use to date and has not been used to anywhere near is design capacity. This opportunity to acquire an AMSA certified 2c 1c Vessel that has multi use and function is unique and should be considered for anyone looking for a serious option that will be reliable for many years to come. In the world of large survey motor yachts in Australia MV Savanah is just starting her charter life. The vessel is seriously on the market as the seller is simply too busy at the moment with other projects to focus on Savannah and has decided that now while the boat is in near perfect shape now is the opportune time to sell.
