Garmin marine electronics are now standard on Northbank boats.

Marine electronics manufacturer Garmin has announced a strategic business partnership with Adelaide-based Northbank Marine. The arrangement will see Garmin marine electronics supplied as standard marine gear on all Northbank boats.

Garmin Australasia marine manager Jason Browne said the OEM agreement with Northbank was further evidence of Garmin’s commitment to the marine industry.

"In line with Garmin’s own reputation for quality and performance, we’re very selective when it comes to business partnerships, which is why Northbank is a solid fit with our direction," he said.

Northbank Marine director Rob Cuming said the fibreglass boatbuilder had been looking to build a relationship with a respected marine electronics supplier and Garmin was natural fit after many years of working successfully with their products.

He said the partnership would also reduce dealer delivery times by streamlining the fitout process.
