EVENTS - 2010 Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show
Prospectus out for the West’s biggest boat fest from October 8 to 10 at Mandurah Ocean Marina
The prospectus for the 2010 Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show has been launched, and event organisers said the West Australian boating industry is getting set for the biggest show ever this October.
The Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show is now in its 16th year, and organisers claim it is the third largest boat show in Australia, attracting an average audience of 22,000 people and exhibitors from across the country showcasing their latest products and services.
Show manager Peter Woods said that despite the industry feeling the effects of the economic downturn, last year’s show was still a success. He said this year, with signs that economic confidence is growing, plus with the significant improvements that are planned in layout and design for this year’s event, he is expecting bigger numbers in exhibitors, products and crowds.
"Last year we had more than 200 exhibitors and more than 500 boats, plus 112 on the water," Woods said.
"This year the Show features a new Super Marquee which is bigger, higher and wider, offering a more open interior display area. There has also been further refinements to the layout and a number of improvements made to aid in parking and transport," he said.
Bookings are being taken now for the 2010 Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show, held from October 8 to 10 at the Mandurah Ocean Marina. Interested participants should contact Premiere Events for a prospectus, phone (08) 9386 9666 or email:
