Performance for fishing and watersports
Mercury Marine has added a new Verado 250 Pro supercharged four-stroke to its line-up of performance outboards.
Regarded by Mercury as "amazingly quiet and virtually vibration-free" the six-cylinder Verado 250 Pro is said to also provide unequalled mid-range acceleration and top speed, making it ideal for fishing and watersports alike.
"Verado’s supercharged technology allows precise, programmable control over not only fuel use but the air intake as well," said Mercury. "No competing engine can manage intake with this degree of precision, because no other engine is supercharged with computer-controlled boost."
Among other features are Digital Throttle and Shift and electro-hydraulic power steering as standard, said to provide car-like ease and precision handling.
For serious anglers is the optional DTS Hot Foot, which allows drivers to transfer throttle control between the foot pedal and the DTS panel control with the push of a button.
To ensure maximum performance, Mercury says the Verado 250 Pro is available with a 20in shaft (L version) and a 25in shaft (XL version), and backed by a 3+2=5 Year Warranty (for recreational – non racing - purposes only).
