BACK COVE

TAB CREW SAYS… This 30-footer won our 2011 Best Family Boat award

Exhibitor Emarine Australia is displaying the Back Cove 30 motoryacht in an Australasian boat-show launch as well as the Back Cove 37. "Sanctuary Cove is a fantastic show and we really hope 2011 will be a big one for us," said Emarine principal, Jed Elderkin. The Back Cove 30 epitomises Back Cove’s modern evolution of a time-honoured style. Presenting a traditional spoon bow, deep-vee and gently sloping transom, the Back Cove offers the elegance of a traditional Maine lobster boat with modern amenities. Internally, there’s a vee-berth that converts to seating around the saloon table, and a fully-equipped galley with a separate head and shower. Top speed is more than 20kts with the standard 315hp diesel engine (an upgrade is available). A bowthruster lends to the efficiency of the Back Cove 30. But perhaps best of all, the boat offers more volume and comforts and bang for your buck. Together, such things put this sportscruiser on the must-see list and help shift that huge first-boat-owner’s market back in gear.
