NEW YACHTS - Jeanneau Sun Odyssey yachts launched in Cannes
Poland’s Olympic sailing medallist Mateusz Kusznierewicz special guest
Last weekend, Jeanneau said it was the talk of the Cannes Boat Show, holding a special event to present three new sailboats: the Sun Odyssey 509 flagship, the Sun Odyssey 44DS and the Sun Odyssey 379.
Speakers included Jeanneau executives Jean-Paul Chapeleau and Erik Stromberg, and Olympic sailing medallist, Mateusz Kusznierewicz.
Jeanneau said all three sailboats were well received by journalists, customers and dealers alike, who turned out in number for the event.
"Designer Franck Darnet and the design team of Olivier Flahault also attended and were able to discuss the newest evolutions in Jeanneau sailboats — in some cases, revolutionary changes — particularly aboard the Sun Odyssey 44DS, the interior of which has been entirely redesigned," said the boatbuilder.
The new Jeanneau sailboat models will continue their international tour at the following European boat shows: La Rochelle, France; Genoa, Italy; Southampton, England; and Barcelona, Spain.
