MYSTERY RIVIERA
MYSTERY RIVIERA

Sorry folks, we don’t know either, but all will be revealed when Australia’s biggest luxury boatbuilder Riviera celebrates the launch of its 5000th boat at a special gala dinner celebration early next month.

Riviera is remaining tight-lipped as to the particular model that will mark the milestone, Stephen Milne, Riviera director of brand and communications, telling Trade-a-Boat the 5000th boat was being kept secret for a special unveiling at the dinner.

Riviera’s state-of-the-art Coomera facility on Queensland’s Gold Coast will be transformed into a five-star entertainment precinct to "host a celebration like no other".

Milne is extending an invitation to all boating enthusiasts who would like to become part of the builder’s maritime history to join in the fun.

"Launching our 5000th boat is a major accomplishment for Riviera and we intend to celebrate this significant achievement with a spectacular night of fine food, entertainment and a stunning parade of Riviera’s past models before unveiling our 5000th model," said Milne.

"At Riviera we are immensely proud of our rich 32-year history, our humble beginnings, and our growth into Australia’s iconic boating brand. To have launched 5000 boats in the size range of 27 to 75 feet in 32 years is a true testament to the Riviera brand, our blue-water heritage, our innovative designs, our quality craftsman and our extremely loyal owners.

"It is an honour to host such an historic occasion and we encourage those who want to be part of Riviera history to secure their tickets online or through their Riviera dealer as soon as possible. Tickets are limited so I urge Riviera enthusiasts to act quickly to secure their front-row seat and become part of Riviera’s maritime history.

"I can assure Riviera enthusiasts that we will stage a very different style of event for this special evening. There will be an alfresco dining experience with a 100m-long table and a full night club created to dance the night away, along with a few other Riviera surprises," he said.

The 5000 Reasons to Celebrate gala dinner will be held on November 2 to coincide with the Gold Coast International Marine Expo (November 2 to 4) at Riviera’s Coomera facility, 50 Waterway Drive, Coomera. Tickets cost $130.00 and are available for purchase online at www.riviera.com.au or through your local Riviera dealer.
