New boats: Clipper Cordova 51
Dreaming of a luxury motoryacht that can do it all? The Clipper 51 Cordova from Clipper might fit the bill.
The Clipper Cordova 51 is a displacement keeled hull and luxury cruiser made for extended offshore cruising. For the 2016 model, Clipper Motor Yachts offers the Cordova 51 with a new layout.
The new layout on the Clipper Cordova 51 includes a spacious owners’ suite with sliding access doors. Clipper says this layout has a true island bed amidships and generous ensuite bathroom.
The accommodation maximises cabin space and is based around a two-cabin/double ensuite arrangement with new, oversized opening portholes.
The Clipper Cordova 51 has numerous large, open areas including a huge entertaining cockpit with a rear door and hopper window design that opens up the galley and indoors.
The central lower helm offers extended visibility while cruising and there’s a raised L-shaped dinette to port.
The Clipper Cordova 51 is powered by twin Cummins 550hp QSB diesel marine engines. Clipper Motor Yachts says they will cruise comfortably at 17kts, and can attain up to 24kts. Cruising fuel economy at 8kts is said to be just 26lt/hr.
The 2016 Clipper Cordova 51 is priced at $1,195,000.
