NEW PRODUCTS - Lees Power releases Paguro gensets
Queensland company expands its range of diesel engines and gensets for leisure and commercial marine applications
Lees Power is now the exclusive Australian distributor for the Paguro range of Italian-made marine generators.
Based in Queensland, the company said it has a national dealer network now offering a comprehensive range of diesel engines and gensets to the leisure and commercial marine market.
Adding to the Lees Power inventory are Italian Paguro diesel gensets designed for marine applications, with low noise levels, reduced weight and size for tight spaces among the notable features.
Lees Power’s John Graves says the units run on an efficient water-cooled AC generator, which does not release heat into the engine compartment.
"It is designed to release less heat due to the stainless steel jacket surrounding the windings, which eliminates the need for ventilation openings into the sound shield. This is the key to the soundproofing feature of the range," said Graves.
Lees Power said the Paguro can also be fitted with an economy device that allows the engine to run at lower speeds, which further decreases noise and vibration and improves fuel consumption and the lifespan of the engine.
The entry-level model, the 3kVa Paguro 3000, is a compact unit weighing in at just 60kg and with an anti-vibrating system based on four soft shock absorbers, said the distributor. The genset it said also has a handle operated emergency starting system, with an automatic decompression device and remote control panel with automatic shut-off feature.
Other Paguro gensets include 4, 5, 6, 9, 14 and 18kVa units, and the super quiet (from 49dB) 6. 5, 8.5 and 16.5kVa models. Lees Power said has a genset to suit virtually all applications.
The company stocks a range of industrial diesel engines and generators from Fiat Power train (Iveco), along with a range of petrol-powered generators, as well as Hatz air-cooled diesel engines for industrial and power generation applications.
Lees Power says it also specialises in marine diesel engines from Doosan Infracore
(Daewoo) for the leisure and commercial markets.
Backed by a wealth of experience Lees Power said it prides itself on its hands-on approach when it comes to servicing its customers through an expanding national network.
