The 2009 Melbourne Boat Show saw Haines Hunter officially unveil six of its seven new Profish Series fibreglass boats designed specifically for anglers. Ranging from 4.7m to 6.7m, the 475, 495, 525, 535, 575 and 625 models attracted plenty of interest at the show. The 675 Profish will make its debut later in the year.

Haines Hunter director John Haber said the Profish Series remained competitively priced while offering all the benefits synonymous with the Haines Hunter brand.

"The Profish Series has been developed to cater for serious anglers, incorporating completely new configurations and plenty of functional fishing features, without bursting the budget," said Haber.

"The deep-V hull design of each Profish model combines the perfect balance of performance and stability, which is the result of extensive research and development based on an intimate understanding of Australian water conditions.

"In that light, the smaller models are ideal for bay and inshore fishing around the county, while the larger 575, 625 and 675 Profish are very capable offshore boats for trips out wide to target tuna and billfish."

The Profish Series comes in new gelcoat colours. An extensive list of options is also available as are full customisations. Haines Hunter said that build quality and attention to detail is second to none, and that only premium quality materials and fittings are used.

All hulls are backed by a seven-year structural warranty.
