The Mercury Pro XS Racing team has sliced 29 seconds off the SMOC (Standard Motor Open Cockpit) class race record at the Mildura 100 over the Easter Weekend.

Powered by an OptiMax 250 Pro XS outboard, Mercury Pro XS Racing crossed the line in 41 minutes and 55 seconds. Peter Lewis was behind the wheel, with David Stoneley observing, and Steven Young and Adam Bail on the skis.
